Beta versions of the upcoming RT 5.0.2 and RT 4.4.5 releases are now available for testing. If you would like to help with testing, details and links are available on our forum announcements for 5.0.2 and 4.4.5.
Included in the new version is an improvement in autocomplete on roles (ticket fields like Requestor and AdminCc) that allows these fields to now search on and accept groups. These fields also now accept usernames where they previously defaulted to always using email address. If you use groups in your roles, this can make managing these roles much easier.

For RT admins, we have improved the user administration search to add explicit selections for privileged and unprivileged users, and active and inactive users. This makes it much easier to find specific groups of users. And as a reminder, the RT configuration option AdminSearchResultFormat allows you to modify the fields shown in the search results, so you can see the user information you need when searching.
